This coffee comes from smallholder farmers in Papua New Guinea’s Jiwaka and Western Highlands Provinces, where coffee is grown between 1,520 and 1,770 meters above sea level. The region is known for its fertile volcanic soils and some of the most well-preserved Typica genetics in the coffee world. Farmers selectively harvest ripe cherry, which is then processed as a full natural and dried on raised beds before being milled at the Kagamuga Dry Mill.

This lot was developed in partnership with Monpi Coffee and the Kindeng Wet Mill, where cherry was separated specifically for natural processing rather than the more common washed method. The result is a fruit-forward cup with notes of ripe raspberry, sweet strawberry, citrus cream, and brown sugar.

In an effort to provide the freshest coffee possible with the lowest amount of waste, all coffee orders will be roasted at the beginning of the week and shipped out within two business days of roast.
