This is decaf for people who actually like coffee. The beans come from smallholder farms in Mexico's high-altitude coffee communities and are processed as a natural, which gives the cup more body and sweetness than most decafs. The caffeine is then removed with ethyl acetate, a gentle method using a compound found naturally in fruit. That keeps the crisp, sweet, chocolatey character intact. It tastes like a cozy cup of coffee at 9 p.m., with no regrets at 2 a.m.
