This coffee comes from smallholder farmers in western Rwanda, processed at the Jarama Washing Station operated by Kivubelt Coffee. The lot is referred to as “People’s Farm,” reflecting the collective effort of more than 500 farmers contributing cherry to the station.
Grown along the slopes near Lake Kivu, the region benefits from cool temperatures, high elevation, and volcanic soils shaped by the East African Rift. These conditions support slow maturation and layered structure in the cup. Fully washed and dried with precision, the coffee presents a balanced profile—bright citrus, deeper sugar browning notes, and a steady chocolate finish.
