Peru’s northern Andes, a lush and mountainous region, serves as a vital transition between the Pacific slopes and the Amazon basin's rainforests. This area, known for its diverse elevation and microclimates, has long been a hub for high-quality coffee production. The Cooperativa de Servicios Multiples Juan Marco El Palto (JUMARP) in northern Peru, established in 2003, manages coffee from over 300 smallholder farmers. These farmers, who practice organic farming and meticulous coffee processing, produce exceptional coffee that showcases the unique "El Palto" terroir.
